Fidelity Health Care Technology Group is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to help deliver the best digital web experience to their customers by building robust and resilient applications focused on healthcare benefits and management.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing web applications
• Professional experience in front-end frameworks and web technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, web components, and Angular
• Solid knowledge with open-source stack technologies and webapp/API security
• Strong technical background on crafting and developing enterprise digital applications with MVC design pattern, micro front-end strategy, and open micro service architectures
• Proven experience in container and cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, as well as secure application development
• Solid knowledge of cloud solutions, serverless architecture, containerization strategies
• Deep understanding and experience of version control system management using various Git workflows

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing web applications
• Crafting rich and compelling digital experiences using application design guidelines and robust tooling
• Building digital RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Working with DevSecOps standards and tools like Jenkins or Jenkins Core, Git/GitHub
• Utilizing container and cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Creating quality-first, testable solutions using TDD and automation
• Providing engineering thought leadership to advance healthcare benefits and management outcomes

Other

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to integrate effectively into the inclusive culture
• Strong experience in leading in a reciprocal, team-based environment with a constant focus on learning, mentoring, and encouraging others
• Hybrid working model requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office
• Compliance with Fidelity’s legal and regulatory requirements governing the hiring of individuals with certain criminal histories
