Fidelity’s Fixed Income Division needs to support growth and drive scale by developing high-quality, testable code for trading, portfolio and research platforms and efficiently deploying them onto AWS

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience as a full stack software engineer
• 5+ years of experience in technically leading by analysis and design
• Exposure to coding in more than one programming language (e.g. Java, Springboot, JavaScript, SQL and PL/SQL)
• Hands-On Web Service design and development experience along with PL/SQL development
• Deep knowledge of middleware Java stack, messaging technologies, containerization, web containers and test automation
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery tools such as GIT, Cloudbees Jenkins and/or AWS deployments
• Experience building enterprise cloud enabled distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, testable code for trading, portfolio and research platform
• Efficiently deploy code onto AWS
• Technically lead by analysis and design, mentoring a group of developers
• Design and develop web services along with PL/SQL development
• Produce clear and concise systems specifications documents and support documentation
• Implement Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices
• Develop and execute test automation frameworks

Other

• Bachelor's degree (or above) in either Engineering or Computer Science related field
• Great communication skills, Fast learner, and an excellent teammate
• Ability to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office
• Must be able to work in a Hybrid role
• Must comply with Fidelity’s business governance and regulations
