The FIFT organization needs to build new and innovative tools to support and improve investment processes for their bond portfolio management and trading products, enabling investment decision making, portfolio management, and trading for nearly $2 trillion in assets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a full stack software development environment
- Experience as a technical lead supporting multiple teams, providing guidance and oversight for junior engineers
- Experience with UI tech stack/Single Page Applications : HTML, JavaScript and Angular
- Experience in Micro Frontend architecture, including modular design, independent deployment strategies
- Comfortable with a broad set of technologies including deep knowledge of middleware Java stack, Spring framework, Oracle, messaging technologies (EMS or KAFKA) RESTful APIs and web containers
- Possess full-stack software development knowledge and critical thinking skills to craft end-to-end solutions
- Familiarity with developing and running software on cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services
Responsibilities
- Partnering with Architecture, Data Services, Cloud Platform Teams, etc. to propose, design, develop and implement solutions
- Experience with UI tech stack/Single Page Applications : HTML, JavaScript and Angular
- Experience in Micro Frontend architecture, including modular design, independent deployment strategies
- Comfortable with a broad set of technologies including deep knowledge of middleware Java stack, Spring framework, Oracle, messaging technologies (EMS or KAFKA) RESTful APIs and web containers
- Possess full-stack software development knowledge and critical thinking skills to craft end-to-end solutions
- Comfortable developing Angular based user interfaces and Java based middle tier services
- Familiarity with developing and running software on cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services
Other
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering; 2+ years of experience as a technical lead
- Understanding of and experience within an Agile/Scrum framework preferred
- A passion to learn new things, including the Asset Management and Fixed Income investment domains
- You are self-motivated, driven, and have a strong client focus and results-orientated approach
- Provide outstanding support, including rotational on-call support
