Requirements
- Programming experience; specifically, in procedural programming
- Strong understanding of SQL and general database concepts (query building and optimization)
- General understanding of various insurance and/or industry products
- Experience with Insurance Policy Administration
- Advanced Knowledge of all life and annuity Products and the ability to learn about new products quickly
- Advanced Knowledge of all different administration Processes (commissions, claims, NBU)
- In-depth understanding of the insurance industry and can apply it to a policy administration implementation
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple build teams to deliver functionality defined in stories maintaining consistent design across the teams and multiple work efforts
- Support functional development strategy with thought leadership in foundations and implementation execution
- Work with integration teams, business partners and other vendors to identify and establish integration points with OIPA
- Lead configuration standards and provide mentorship on implementation across the organization
- Design solutions so that it is portable to other implementations
- Provide a high-level description of technical aspects of integrations (i.e., push events, AsFile, Exposed Computation... inbound/outbound)
- Design the configuration to meet the business needs while considering the technical requirements of a project
Other
- Lead project work across multiple work efforts
- Provide updates directly or indirectly on state of projects both to Equisoft and client (sometimes at the executive level)
- Demonstrated creativity to resolve when presented with challenging business processes
- Share solution designs with the team clearly and effectively
- Ability to mentor clients
