Skillsoft is seeking a Fixed Term HR Principal Data Analyst to analyze and interpret HR data, providing insights and recommendations to drive business decisions. The role aims to identify trends, monitor metrics, and develop reports to support data-driven decision-making within the HR department and for executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other relevant tools, and the ability to translate data/analysis into a simplified story in an executive level PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Excel ability and recent experience with Pivot Tables, Macros and other automation techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with HR data and systems such as HRIS, ATS, LMS, or other relevant systems (Workday system and reporting experience is a plus)
  • Experience creating detailed, reports, dashboards and Executive Board Presentations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain HR analytics dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools for use with our BOD and Executive Leadership team
  • Collect, consolidate HR data from multiple sources, add or calculate missing data fields – design in a way that is automated and can be easily repeated and refreshed monthly
  • Work with HR Leadership team to identify the key/critical develop and maintain HR metrics
  • Compose the consolidated HR Data set to identify trends and provide insights and recommendations to CPO and Senior HR Leadership team
  • Develop Trends and KPIs to track performance and progress against strategic goals
  • Partner with HR team to monitor risk areas and potential action plans
  • Stay up-to-date on trending metrics and new data insight opportunities

Other

  • 5-7 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, business intelligence, or related field with a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Data Science or related field or commensurate experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create dashboards present data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders
  • Robust project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
