Ochsner Health needs to lead the design, implementation, and management of an enterprise-grade hybrid cloud infrastructure to enable healthcare providers, support patients, and ensure scalable, secure operations.
Requirements
- Expertise in multi-cloud environments (e.g: AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong experience in designing scalable, secure, cost-optimized, and highly available cloud platform solutions (e.g: multi-account strategy, Cloud Landing Zone, Cloud FinOps, Cloud Security Posture Management).
- Expertise in cross-cloud and hybrid cloud connectivity, private cloud networking, and cloud internal DNS architectures.
- Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Deep understanding of cloud IAM, RBAC, The principle of least privilege, and regulatory standards like HIPAA; experience with cloud-native security tools.
- Public Cloud Architecture Certification(s)
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements a comprehensive cloud strategy that aligns with the organization's goals.
- Designs hybrid cloud solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Ensures the cloud architecture supports scalability, security, and high availability.
- Implements robust security measures to protect sensitive patient data and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (i.e. HIPAA).
- Conducts regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Stays up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years experience in IT/IS, with a focus on cloud architecture and implementation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
