Best Buy's Ad Serving team is looking to build a cutting-edge, ML-powered ad platform to optimize ad delivery in real time and drive meaningful customer experiences.
Requirements
- 7 years of hands-on ML modeling experience
- 5 years of Python experience for data and modeling
- 3 years of experience resolving production-grade ML and data issues
- 2 years of experience in ML operations, including feature stores, model repositories, and model deployment and serving
- 2 years of experience in designing, managing, and scaling ML systems: featurization, training, inference, and dashboarding.
- Proficiency in SQL and orchestration tools
- Experience with ML platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker) and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Responsibilities
- Train and deploy ML models for real-time ad decisioning and bidding
- Design and implement advanced modeling techniques like forecasting and causal inference
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align models with business goals
- Manage ML workflows and feature data using modern MLOps tools
- Optimize infrastructure for low latency, scalability, and model freshness
- Mentor junior ML scientists and foster technical excellence

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in Ad Tech and cross-functional collaboration
- Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field
