The Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) Detect and Respond organization needs a problem solver with a passion for data analysis to understand complex end-to-end data flows, identify issues, and recommend solutions for efficiency and modernization within large-scale data platforms and cybersecurity data.

Requirements

• Experience with tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, PowerBI, Splunk, Jira.
• Proficiency in query and programming languages such as SQL and Python.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty, with technologies you may have never worked with previously and gather the data and information to get to the root of an issue to resolve.
• Understanding of systems engineering.
• Experience in large scale data platforms and projects with multiple streams of work, resolving challenges, mitigating risks, and working through dependencies while collaborating with internal partners to ensure turning points are met.
• Experience in cybersecurity data is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex end to end data flows across various data sources & API’s.
• Go through multiple data sources and data & API methodologies to understand the data and communicate the findings with driven recommendations.
• Analyze current business and technical processes, triage issues, find opportunities for efficiency and improve applications and tools based on insights, solutions, and requirements.
• Assess end to end data process and analyze opportunities for process enhancements & modernization.
• Translate engineering requirements to analytical use cases.
• Translate business needs into data requirements for developers.
• Identify application and data issues, enhancements, and requests by researching the problem and engaging the engineering team when required.
