Amplitude is seeking a Staff/Principal level Product Designer to lead AI efforts across products, design new paradigms for interacting with software, and push the boundaries of the latest technology to improve customer experience and drive growth.
Requirements
- Experience designing for B2B enterprise SaaS products.
- Proven track record of shipping LLM-powered features or products that solve real problems.
- Experience with prototyping tools like Cursor, V0, Bolt.
- Experience in designing AI-powered features or products.
- Experience in defining frameworks and patterns to scale AI experiences across a platform.
- Experience working through the full product development lifecycle.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces, creating clarity out of complexity.
Responsibilities
- Lead design end-to-end: from strategy to execution to ship.
- Design consumer-grade experiences for enterprise tools.
- Rapidly prototype with the latest tools (Cursor, V0, Bolt, etc) to align and inspire stakeholders.
- Build with your cross-functional team to deliver the best experiences possible.
- Think big, build small, and ship frequently to learn and iterate with customers.
- Define frameworks and patterns to help scale AI experiences across the Amplitude platform.
- Help build a strong design culture that levels everyone up and sets the bar for quality.

- Salary range for this role is $199,000 to $333,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission, based on location).

- Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $222,000 - $333,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $199,000 - $298,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $199,000 - $298,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
