Velocity Global is looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive product definition, strategy, and long-term vision to foster growth for their platform that empowers businesses to hire, pay, and support talent globally.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Product Management experience
- 4+ years of user-facing experience in industries such as eCommerce, technology, SAAS or multi-sided marketplaces
- Proven abilities in driving product strategy, vision, and roadmap alignment
- Lean mindset to focus on delivering customer value by minimizing waste, optimizing workflows, fostering continuous improvement, and prioritizing in an iterative manner.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technical projects from inception to deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on delivering robust and reliable solutions.
- Experience in growth-focused engineering projects or A/B testing frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross functional teams to develop vision and strategy for the growth products.
- Create and drive a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives to achieve our strategy.
- Clearly articulate the business problems about invoice, gather evidence from users, internal team, and outside sources, clarify the potential solutions with assumptions, guiding principles, strategic connections
- Define the roadmap with deep understanding of the underlying customer needs and drive prioritization of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Drive the execution of major initiatives to deliver customer growth, and retention
- Create user stories, and partner with business, marketing, sales and product engineering teams to manage product backlog and execution through scrum teams
- Drive product and feature launches aligned with company goals and report key metrics

- Experience presenting business reviews to senior executives
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- This role requires a hybrid presence in our Palo Alto office.
