Guidewire is looking to solve the problem of providing core software solutions to the global property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, specifically in the areas of geospatial data and analytics, and exposure management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment, preferably in the Insurtech, geospatial, or financial services industries
- Strong understanding of the P&C insurance industry, including key concepts such as underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and cat management
- Proven track record in geospatial data and tooling, with a clear understanding of how it's used for risk analysis and exposure management
- Experience with geospatial analytics and fintech
- Insurtech experience
- Geospatial data and tooling expertise
- Experience with cloud services and platform delivery
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy for Guidewire’s analytics application suite
- Manage the entire product lifecycle for Compare and Canvas, ensuring their continued relevance and value
- Leverage experience in geospatial tooling and data to build a product that provides insurers with a comprehensive, visual understanding of their risk
- Work with engineering teams to integrate and visualize data from various sources (e.g., geocoding, building footprints, hazard data) to create powerful insights
- Stay ahead of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the P&C insurance and geospatial technology sectors
- Act as an internal and external champion for your products, presenting to customers and prospects, speaking at industry events, and training internal teams on new features and capabilities
- Lead the discovery, design, and development of a new exposure management application
