Samsara is looking to improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of physical operations by digitally transforming industries like agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing through its Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. The Platform group specifically aims to provide reliable and secure infrastructure, create exceptional user experiences, deliver core customer-facing features, and extend Samsara's capabilities with developer tools and integrations.
Requirements
- Some familiarity with APIs, automation tools, or technical systems integration.
- Experience working on B2B SaaS or platform products.
- Previous exposure to automation tools, event-based systems, or workflow builders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior & Principal PMs to develop product requirements and help shape the roadmap for automation capabilities.
- Work cross-functionally with design and engineering to ship features that are intuitive, scalable, and reliable.
- Partner with customer support, sales engineers, and account teams to gather feedback, debug issues, and prioritize enhancements.
- Use customer feedback and product analytics to evaluate success and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to product launch activities, documentation, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Other
- 8+ years of experience in product management, or a mix of product-focused roles in software, engineering, or technical consulting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and simplify complex ideas.
- Comfortable using data and customer feedback to make decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent practical experience (i.e. software engineering experience); an MBA is a plus.
- Experience working with enterprise customers or customer-facing teams.
- This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US.
