The initiative aims to ensure the third-party ecosystem is secure, signed, and stable, especially as developers gain more control over their data through the Data Developer Framework. The goal is to make games more performant, efficient, and stable for end-users by ensuring packages touching developer data and gameplay are trustworthy and dependable.

Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the Core Standards framework, establishing the criteria against which third-party Unity packages are measured and verified
- Responsible for leading Package Manager integration strategy, ensuring verified packages are discoverable and easy to adopt
- Shape the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy, turning the Unite announcement into a successful 2026 launch

- Partner with third-party developers and publishers through negotiation and collaboration, building trust and adoption across the ecosystem
- Craft and evangelize a compelling narrative that connects Core Standards and the Data Developer Framework, helping developers understand how verified packages and data control work together
- Proven track record bringing developer-facing products or platform features to market successfully
- Experience negotiating and building partnerships with third-party developers or technology providers
- Strong abilities in product strategy for ecosystem or marketplace products
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to inspire both technical and business audiences
- Experience in game development or familiarity with the gaming industry
- International relocation support is not available for this position
- This position requires the incumbent to have a sufficient knowledge of English to have professional verbal and written exchanges in this language since the performance of the duties related to this position requires frequent and regular communication with colleagues and partners located worldwide and whose common language is English.
