Amplitude is looking to capitalize and sustain the growth of its session replay product, which has been adopted faster than any other new product launched at the company, by hiring a product leader to own and drive the product's roadmap and success.

Requirements

  • Technical enough to understand system design, prompt engineering, and architectural tradeoffs in AI
  • Ability to earn the respect of engineers by being in the details
  • Experience managing a product before (though doesn't have to be within this space)
  • Ideas about how to apply AI to transition from a world where everyone has to watch the replays to get value
  • Opinion about the session replay category, potentially formed as a user of products in the space
  • Ability to understand and leverage AI to drive product growth
  • Familiarity with digital analytics platforms and product innovation

Responsibilities

  • Own the product
  • Connect deeply with customers to understand their needs and discover opportunities
  • Set the roadmap across the product (which includes session replay, heatmaps, and zoning)
  • Act as a GM, collaborating with marketing to design campaigns that drive awareness and emphasize the uniqueness and right to win of our offering
  • Actively participate in sales opportunities to help pitch our solution and design winning pitches
  • Be the internal cheerleader for session replay, highlighting updates and team member contributions
  • Apply AI to transition from a world where everyone has to watch the replays to get value
