The Consumer Platform (CP) team at Intuit is looking to transform its Product Management function to drive innovation with velocity, customer-centricity, and data-informed strategic bets. Specifically, the TurboTax business, despite being a category leader, has a significant opportunity to capture the 85M American consumers who currently spend too much time and money on inefficient and expensive tax prep services. The role aims to identify and execute high-impact growth initiatives for their expert-driven, do-it-for-me tax products.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of driving growth through user-centered design and experimentation.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, data science, and research.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with and influence other Design, Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering leaders to drive outcomes.
- Deep customer empathy and a strong commitment to customer-centricity, serving as a fierce advocate for customer needs throughout the design process.
- Thorough understanding of business fundamentals and how tasteful design impacts growth metrics and business outcomes, enabling alignment between design initiatives and organizational goals.
- Exceptional ability to analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions, identify opportunities, and measure outcomes.
- Experience working closely with research and data science teams to uncover actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the design strategy for prioritized growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop a clear design vision and roadmap across multiple time horizons, collaborating with cross-functional partners to execute effectively.
- Serve as a lighthouse example for understanding, identifying, and executing high-impact growth design work, setting a gold standard for design practices across the Product organization.
- Leverage customer insights and data to inform design decisions, ensuring solutions are deeply rooted in customer empathy and address real user needs.
- Develop and implement design experiments to test hypotheses, iterating rapidly based on feedback and data.
- Establish and champion growth design principles to ensure sustainable growth outcomes that are customer-centric.
- Drive the execution of end-to-end design solutions, maintaining a focus on quality, velocity, and measurable impact.
