The AWS Applied AI Solutions Finance team is seeking a Principal Program Manager to support their fast-growing and innovation-driven organization and shape how they plan, measure, and accelerate their financial and operational success.
Requirements
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- 9+ years of program or project management experience
- 9+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Applied AI Finance Leadership Team to manage AWS CFO-lead program(s) with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Own executive briefing documents, metric scorecards, and strategic insights for leadership reviews
- Coordinate high-visibility deliverables and synthesize business and financial results to support effective decision-making
- Drive execution of strategic initiatives across Finance, Data Science, and Analytics, such as forecasting tools, KPI standardization, cost transparency, and automation efforts
- Lead cross-functional programs spanning Finance, Product, and Engineering teams, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and expected impact
- Track milestones, risks, and dependencies while creating scalable mechanisms to monitor and report program progress
- Define project scope, draft business requirements, and support user testing and operational readiness

- 9+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Actively mentor and develop the next generation of PMs and program leaders, raising the bar for program management excellence
- Represent AWS Applied AI Solutions Finance within the broader Amazon PM community, contributing best practices and thought leadership
- Ability to work with senior leadership and external customers
