Raytheon is seeking a Principal Program Quality Engineer to support the Stinger portfolio, ensuring programs meet all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements from design to production and sustainment, while driving continuous improvement and reducing product lifecycle cost and risk.
Requirements
- Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Working experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action.
- Working experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.
- Experience Reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Corrective Action Requests (CAR)
- Experience interfacing directly with customers
- Experience presenting, reviewing and/or approving changes through a formal Change Control Board (CCB).
- Experience with Product Test Equipment development and production implementation.
Responsibilities
- Be the Quality POC interfacing across factories, key suppliers and customers supporting technical quality and financial performance, and compliance with Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
- Develop partnerships with senior leaders, IPTs, customers, and quality support functions of the program team to define steps necessary to implement proactive quality strategies that shape Raytheon’s ability to become the provider of choice.
- Generation of new CORE (Customer Oriented Result and Excellence), CoPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) projects to reduce costs/increase efficiency of the Stinger program.
- Monitor / lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues and to ensure extensive RCCA.
- Support issue resolutions and solutions to production.
- Support implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable.
- Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers.

- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior experience.
