Vizient is looking to solve the problem of defining and driving user experience strategy across complex products and platforms, while ensuring alignment of design vision with business objectives and technical constraints.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and accessibility principles
• Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision)
• Knowledge of user research methodologies and ability to synthesize insights into design strategy

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design of user experiences for complex workflows, from research and conceptualization through detailed interaction design
• Drive UX strategy, ensuring alignment of design vision with business objectives and technical constraints
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate insights into actionable product design
• Define and maintain design standards, patterns, and systems to ensure consistency across platforms
• Conduct and apply user research, usability testing, and analytics to inform and validate design decisions
• Mentor and influence design teams, elevating the overall quality of UX practices across the organization

Other

• 10+ years of progressive UX design experience, including at least 5 years at a senior or lead/principal level
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership in enterprise-scale or consumer-facing products
• Strong storytelling and communication skills to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, innovative environments
