- advance core methods, AI-based models and optimizations and processes
- prototype coding
- code/application testing
- quality assurance in all efforts
- ArcGIS software
- AI-driven models for energy modeling
Responsibilities
- Reviews on-site meteorological data from various sensing devices
- Sets up, monitors and analyzes numerical weather models (both meso- and micro-scale) to accurately understand the long-term energy resource across a given area
- Sets up and executes in-house software and prediction tools to translate the long-term resource into energy production optimizations for a wide variety of equipment configurations
- Performs geospatial analysis using ArcGIS software and other industry-standard tools to identify locations with maximum energy output and minimal impact to local land use
- Collects and filters operational data
- Analyzes system energy loss due to wiring, transformers, soiling, snow etc.
- Designs AI-driven models for energy modeling
Other
- work among multi-disciplinary project teams to evaluate novel project designs
- collect and integrate customer feedback into project proposals
- identify strategic opportunities to maximize project value and outcomes
- communicating these results and recommendations to upper management in support of investment decisions
- travel expectancy is between 5% and 25% of time
