Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking an SAP ABAP Developer to support its global SAP operations, focusing on delivering high-quality ABAP development for both ECC and S/4HANA environments. The role is critical for supporting Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (P2P) functional areas and will play a key technical leadership role in the upcoming S/4HANA migration, including the disposition of the ECC codebase.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in ABAP development for SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Experience with S/4HANA backend development.
- Extensive experience with IDoc processing, especially inbound sales orders.
- Proven ability to implement multi-echelon inventory concepts in code.
- Familiarity with AFS industry solution and performance optimization techniques.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Support Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (P2P) functional areas with robust technical solutions.
- Lead technical efforts during the S/4HANA migration, including disposition of ECC codebase.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable ABAP solutions.
- Ensure quality through code reviews, performance tuning, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide offshore development teams, providing training and technical leadership.
- Participate in all phases of SAP implementations, from design to deployment.

- This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon.
