Requirements
- Experience as a Signals Software Engineer (SSWE) or equivalent on a project with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF) to include experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools (e.g., Wigner-Ville transform (WVT), DVT), and digital signal processing (e.g., adaptive beamforming/ filtering, demodulation)
- Experience with software defined radio architectures
- Experience in programming languages such as Java, C, C++, and Python
- Experience with satellite communication systems and ground systems
- Experience with commercial wireless standards
- Experience with geolocation techniques
- Experience with software configuration management
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate signal processing software with satellite ground systems
- Develop and implement algorithms for signal processing, including Fourier transforms, digital signal processing, and RF signal processing
- Analyze and optimize signal processing algorithms for improved performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to signal processing software
- Lead one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any project
- Follow established Software processes and procedures, development, documentation and maintenance/management of operations concepts and requirements

- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience
