Comcast is looking to hire a Principal Software Architect II to design and develop updated infrastructure in support of business processes, ensuring a balance between tactical and strategic technology solutions, and considering business problems end-to-end.
Requirements
- Experience with IP ABR video delivery, DASH & HLS, ISO-BMFF & CMAF
- Experience with AWS S3, IBM COS / Cleversafe, Pure Storage, or similar S3 based on-premise storage systems

Responsibilities
- Architects cost-effective systems for video processing, storage, and playback
- Works with engineering teams to identify and implement optimization opportunities
- Guides teams on platform migrations.
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions that align with business goals and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, maintainable, and timely delivery of technology solutions.
- Define system and subsystem architecture, document requirements, and oversee the full project lifecycle.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities.
