Zscaler is looking to enhance the performance and reliability of their Zero Trust Branch hardware SKUs and system infrastructure to support high-performance networking and security applications.
Requirements
- Experience in qualifying hardware for high-performance data path
- Experience in system engineering, with a focus on designing and optimizing system infrastructure for high-performance networking and Security applications
- In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals, disk partitioning, file systems kernel networking features and their impact on platform performance and reliability
- Experience with high-speed data paths, including kernel data path and user space data path like VPP
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Qualifying and expanding Zero Trust Branch hardware SKUs
- Design and optimize system infrastructure to support high-performance networking and security applications
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals, disk partitioning, file systems, and kernel networking features to evaluate and enhance platform performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain high-speed data paths, including kernel-space and user-space implementations such as VPP
- Utilize proficiency in C programming to contribute to Linux kernel development
