Skydance Interactive is looking for a Principal Gameplay Engineer to build key gameplay features and frameworks for their upcoming games.

Requirements

  • Experience architecting and implementing new game features from scratch using a combination of C++, Blueprints, and other tools.
  • Shipped multiple titles using Unreal Engine 4 / 5.
  • Extensive experience with Unreal Engine, modifying and creating custom tech to extend the engine’s feature set.
  • Advanced knowledge of C++ programming development.
  • 10 years of experience as an engineer on a game project team, with multiple commercially shipped game on console, PC or mobile device.

Responsibilities

  • Experience architecting and implementing new game features from scratch using a combination of C++, Blueprints, and other tools.
  • Demonstrated collaboration with designers, artists, and audio developers to iterate on and refine key game systems.
  • Ability to take ownership of major systems, maintain development schedules, and drive major implementation tasks.
  • Shipped multiple titles using Unreal Engine 4 / 5.
  • Extensive experience with Unreal Engine, modifying and creating custom tech to extend the engine’s feature set.
  • Advanced knowledge of C++ programming development.
  • Experience providing feedback and guidance to other engineers – helping them stay on track and true to the overall vision of the game.
