Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer to support a complex program within the National Security Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area, focusing on new design and prototyping in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Requirements
- 20 years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Must have Java development experience
- Proficiency with Git, Linux, Jira, Confluence, Eclipse.
- Experience with React or similar libraries (Vue, Angular).
- Experience in complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.
- Proven ability to ensure quality control of developed and modified software.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Debug existing software and correct defects.
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
- Write or review software and system documentation.
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
Other
- Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead technical teams.
