Raytheon Company, Managed by Collins Aerospace, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is critical for integrating software components into a single system for the global aerospace and defense industry, specifically for the C2BMC program.
Requirements
- Experience in the integration of separate software components into a single system.
- Experience with Linux and Windows system administration including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up.
- Experience with VMWare systems administration and installing.
- Experience with Information Assurance policies and procedures and the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system.
- Experience with scripting and automation technologies and Git
- Hands on experience working with automated tool
- Familiarity with Java.
Responsibilities
- Installation and configuration of Linux and Windows HW platforms from the OS up to the C2BMC developed applications
- documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps in documentation to be delivered to the customer
- develop installation scripts to automate the system installation
- developing test plans/procedures for software integration test conduct
- be responsible for integration/execution
- detailed data analysis
- preparation of software test reports

- Must possess IAT Level II certification.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. (with SCI eligibility)
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience working with Missile Defense Agency. Previous experience on the C2BMC Program
