Caribou Thunder is looking to solve the business problem of developing, testing, and delivering advanced software solutions for missile defense and mission-critical systems to support U.S. warfighter readiness.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ and Java software development
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and processes
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices
- Experience with low-level software-to-hardware interfaces
- Knowledge of CMake build systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions in C++ and Java
- Write and optimize scripts in Python or other scripting languages to support automation and testing
- Contribute to automated testing strategies to ensure robust and reliable software performance
- Collaborate in Agile development teams to deliver high-quality code aligned with evolving mission needs
- Support integration of software with hardware systems, ensuring seamless interoperability
- Apply version control, build tools, and collaborative development practices to sustain code integrity

- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Active DoD Secret clearance (in-scope, required at start)
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of related experience, OR Master’s degree in STEM and 3+ years
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance (preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred)
