Requirements
- 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing large-scale distributed systems and cloud services, with a focus on scalable, resilient architectures that ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- 6+ years experience working with distributed storage and cloud services, solving complex technical challenges at scale
- 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, OR Python
- 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- experience mentoring and influencing engineers across teams, with a demonstrated ability to drive impact at the product level and foster collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and implementation of highly scalable data paths and stores for backup and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with industry experts to tackle complex technical challenges in data integrity, scale, performance, and security.
- Partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements for critical BCDR scenarios.
- Lead the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for Azure BCDR services and platforms.
- Mentor and lead by example, producing extensible and maintainable code used across products.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), monitoring system health and ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to emerging trends and technologies to improve product performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
