Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of technical leadership and successful delivery of large-scale applications.
- Deep expertise in application development using .NET and/or Java, and in client-side frameworks such as Vue.js, ReactJS, and/or Angular.
- Demonstrated excellence in designing and building robust, secure, and scalable cloud-native systems (preferably in AWS).
- Strong background in software architecture, distributed systems, and design patterns.
- Proficiency with build/package/deploy tools such as Gradle, Maven, NPM, and GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in relational database technologies such as SQL Server and Postgres.
- Experience leading build vs. buy evaluations, writing RFPs, and contributing to enterprise-level technical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and guide the architecture of enterprise-grade systems that meet high standards of scalability, modularity, security, performance, and reliability.
- Partner with Engineering Directors and senior leadership to drive architectural vision and technical strategy across teams.
- Serve as a thought leader and mentor across the software engineering organization.
- Elevate technical competencies by coaching senior and lead engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, and facilitating knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and drive innovation by researching emerging technologies, prototyping solutions, and influencing adoption of modern practices and tools.
- Ensure alignment of technical direction with business goals by engaging with stakeholders, guiding trade-off decisions, and advocating for sustainable and strategic software solutions.

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, CIS, or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at communicating complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Passionate about protecting member data and committed to ethical practices and compliance with company policies.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship.
