Microsoft Azure is a leader in confidential computing (CC) technology and aims to transform the Azure Cloud into the Azure Confidential Cloud, enabling confidential computing in the cloud and at the edge. This role will help Azure customers achieve the highest levels of privacy and security by delivering technology and solutions that protect data in use.

Requirements

  • 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Rust, Go, or Python
  • 4+ years experience developing SW or service targeting large scale cloud environment or cloud infrastructure.
  • 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Rust, Go, or Python
  • 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Rust, Go, or Python
  • 1+ year(s) experience with Confidential Computing technology and/or with cloud security is highly desirable.
  • 1+ year(s) experience working with Linux kernel and distributions is desirable.
  • 1+ year(s) experience with virtualization stack is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Architecting/designing, developing, testing, deploying confidential computing features and services
  • Enabling 1P and 3P customers to adopt confidential computing solutions
  • Supporting service and/or customer issue resolution with domain expertise

Other

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
