Intuit needs a Traffic Management Platform with high availability, large scale, and excellent usability. The role involves leading a team to deliver and maintain this platform using cutting-edge technologies.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, including protocols such as TCP, TLS, HTTP 1, HTTP 2, Websocket, etc.
- Extensive experience on Service Mesh technologies such as Istio and Envoy. Experience in development of Envoy filters a plus!
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS concepts such as Route53, IAM, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway, databases such as ElastiCache and DynamoDB.
- Programming experience with C++ or GO.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team to innovate and deliver a secure, scalable, highly available, cost efficient and user friendly Traffic Management Platform.
- Ensure Engineering and Operational Excellence of the Traffic Management Platform.
- Proactively participate in incident responses and root cause analysis, and identify opportunities for improving the platform reliability and preventing future incidents.
- Design review, code review and coaching of junior team members.
- Hands-on participation in designing, implementing, launching and maintaining end-to-end solutions.
- Help to drive adoption of platform solutions among customers.

- Lead the team of 30+ engineers
- Work with Product Management in identifying customer requirements and prioritizing based on business outcome.
- Experience in leading and coaching junior team members.
- Ability to learn fast and move fast.
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
