Microsoft Security is looking to build a platform to process, store, and analyze large volumes of data to help organizations manage and govern their on-premises, multi-cloud, and SaaS data, providing a more holistic understanding of the hybrid data estate. This platform will empower knowledge workers and teams under CDOs, CISOs, and CROs to govern, protect, and manage data more effectively, addressing the growing complexity and security threats in digital environments.
Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 5+ years of experience with distributed systems delivering large-scale, secure, and resilient cloud services
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer/leader designing, implementing, and shipping cloud services or software products
Responsibilities
- develop of core services that form the foundation of the platform
- build next generation security data platform
- partner with several teams in Microsoft Security and Azure organization to make architectural decisions in an ambiguous space
- develop scalable and secure services
- provisioning, flighting, billing, security, redundancy, and other fundamental capabilities of the platform
- building and operating high-scale distributed services in the cloud
- prototype solutions, provide alternatives, and make calls in ambiguous situations

- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
