Requirements
- Experience leading complex feature development from concept to production, including collaborating with multiple partner teams and driving consensus.
- Experience owning and delivering large-scale subsystems or platform components in mission-critical SaaS products.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of security principles and the challenges of securing large-scale systems.
- Experience working with high-scale distributed systems and data platforms.
- Knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
- Experience with security data management, logging, or monitoring solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of a critical subsystem, managing a team of engineers and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and drive the technical strategy for your subsystem, working with partner teams to align goals and technical decisions.
- Drive consensus across multiple partner teams, ensuring alignment on technical decisions and project goals.
- Collaborate closely with product management, security experts, data scientists, and other engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Lead end-to-end development of features, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to senior and junior engineers, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to best practices.
- Optimize subsystem performance to handle extensive security data, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.

- These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
