Spearhead the redevelopment of our in-house logistics and order management platform, LOMACS 2.0 — a next-generation, cloud-enabled warehouse and inventory management system serving multiple 3PL, eCommerce, and fulfillment clients.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience (Java, Spring Boot, or equivalent backend framework).
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and SQL optimization.
- Experience with RESTful API design and enterprise integrations (Shopify, Amazon, EDI, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (OCI, AWS, or GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of software architecture patterns (microservices, async messaging, caching).
- Experience modernizing legacy systems (Oracle 11g / PL-SQL microservice / REST API architecture).
- Familiarity with Fast API, React/TypeScript, and event-driven design (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead and principal developer for the full LOMACS 2.0 modernization program.
- Design and implement core system architecture — including database models, REST APIs, and service integrations.
- Define development standards, code reviews, CI/CD processes, and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with the Solutions Architect on system design decisions, database migrations, and API schemas.
- Lead development using Spring Boot (Java) and/or Fast API (Python) for API and service layers.
- Oversee React/TypeScript front-end development for web and handheld warehouse applications.
- Design, build, and maintain database schemas in PostgreSQL and Oracle Autonomous (ATP).
