Requirements
- Intimate, working familiarity with Go, including architecting and optimizing large-scale distributed systems.
- Intimate, working familiarity with Python, including leading efforts to design and implement Python-based tooling, automation frameworks, and backend services.
- Intimate, working familiarity with AWS, including designing and governing enterprise-scale solutions leveraging AWS services.
- Intimate, working familiarity with Kubernetes, including delivering and operating high-availability Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Strong experience architecting, designing, and implementing backend services with an emphasis on high test coverage at all levels.
- Experience creating and executing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using quality gates to ensure reliability and maintainability.
- Experience with test infrastructure and environments that support backend service validation.

- Anticipating most risks and driving simplification to mitigate risks ahead of time.
- Leading projects and setting the strategic direction for projects or areas of technology.
Other
- 10+ years of development experience with an emphasis on back-end development.
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant field or experience.
- Minimal travel is associated with this role.
