Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program, specifically to deploy, debug, and implement corrective actions to ensure a stable and operable DARC system.
Requirements
- Development Experience in C++, Java & Javascript
- Ability to work with MATLAB
- Must have Security+ (SEC+) Certification
- Expert in debugging
- Familiarity with Linux, RedHat and Windows
- Familiar with Agile principles and use of JIRA and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Install and deploy DARC SW on the DARC System.
- Document and report back on problem or deficiency reports.
- Collaborate with the SW team located back in Colorado Springs to effectively troubleshoot, and debug SW identified SW issues.
- Support ongoing SW development and feature integration for future DARC SW releases while in Colorado Spring.

- Active DoD Secret clearance at the time of application
- 5 years with a Bachelors in Science, 3 years with a Masters in Science degree, and 1 years with the PHD
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
