Requirements

  • Experience with a variety of languages and frameworks, including but not limited to: Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Ruby, Scala, R, SQL, and Go
  • Experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered features into products or systems
  • Used context-appropriate automated testing to inform software design choices and catch bugs
  • Experience with DevSecOps & DevOps, MLOps, Infrastructure as Code, and Data Engineering
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including scalability, security, reliability, and performance
  • Experience with architectural patterns to evaluate tradeoffs and drive clear, documented design rationale
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and containerization

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly building trust with clients, demonstrating technical expertise and understanding of their domain and objectives
  • Framing ambiguous business problems as solvable workflows and systems, earning leadership buy-in, then design and build solutions that balance pragmatism with long-term scalability
  • Guiding technical direction, solving complex problems, and demonstrating best practices while remaining deeply engaged within the codebase
  • Collaborating on systems that involve the full ML lifecycle from data ingestion and preprocessing, to model deployment, integration, and performance monitoring
  • Delivering and advise on enterprise-grade AI systems, including RAG pipelines, vector search, and agentic frameworks
  • Driving innovation by proactively surfacing new technical approaches and product solutions
  • Designing and managing high-level technical roadmaps for large engagements

Other

  • 10+ years of experience in a related field, with a track record of success on high-stakes consulting engagements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel (although most consulting engagements do not require travel)
