JPMorganChase is looking to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way within the CIB Payments Technology team

Requirements

  • Expert in one or more programming language(s)
  • Advanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • Professional platform experience with Apigee, MuleSoft, or Kong platforms, along with hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications in public cloud environments
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of API security best practices and experience with OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization protocols
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks
  • Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Leads the architectural design and implementation of distributed systems across public and private cloud environments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards
  • Provides strategic direction and oversight for the creation, maintenance and integration of API management platform solutions, enhancing system interoperability and performance
  • Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functions
  • Mentors and develops junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
  • Influences leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experience
  • Ability to present and effectively communicate with Senior Leaders and Executives
  • Understanding of the business
  • Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager
