Crusoe is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to help design and scale their carbon-reducing cloud computing platform, Crusoe Cloud, which aims to simplify AI workload management.
Requirements
- Experience with a wide range of tools and technologies, and the ability to evaluate them for reliability, scalability, operational costs, and other key factors.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new tools and frameworks for the engineering team, considering factors like reliability, scalability, cost, and ease of adoption.
- Advocate for forward-thinking architecture and solutions that reduce duplication, increase efficiency, and establish scalable patterns across the engineering team.
- Contribute code, write technical architecture documents, and review merge requests.
- Develop and refine technical assessments to aid in our hiring process.
- Mentor other engineers, helping them grow in their careers.
- Collaborate closely with our customer success and product teams to understand the "why" behind our products, not just the "what."
- Provide guidance on design proposals and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality.
