Capital One Software is seeking to build and prototype new features for its next-generation cloud-native data security platform to address emerging customer use cases and showcase key product capabilities, leveraging state-of-the-art Data & AI technologies to help enterprises discover, share, and protect critical data assets across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
- At least 2 years experience in programming languages: Java, Python, C++, Rust or Go.
- Utilize programming languages like Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in large-scale distributed systems, data security and governance, and cloud-native architecture.
- Make impactful, hands-on contributions throughout the project lifecycle, from design, coding to operations.
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies on Security Data Management Platform, Agentic AI, Cloud Data Warehouse, etc, participating in internal & external technology communities.
- Collaborate with tech leads, product managers, designers, and platform engineering teams to deliver robust and high-quality software features for enterprise users.
- Embrace engineering best practices.
- Drive innovations and productivity by leveraging AI-assisted tools and building AI-enabled agents.
- Utilize programming languages like Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Compute Science, Computer Engineering, Electric Engineering or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
- Master’s Degree in Compute Science, Computer Engineering, Electric Engineering or related fields.
