Fidelity is looking to solve the problem of developing and implementing development pipelines, automating tests, and delivering software solutions in an Agile environment, while also ensuring compliance with various financial regulations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated Expertise (DE) creating automation frameworks for Web, native Android, and iOS applications in a financial or health care services environment, using Espresso, Appium, Selenium, Java, and JavaScript.
- DE implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Sonar, NPM, Node, and Maven; and monitoring critical application’s performance using Splunk.
- DE interpreting and designing test automation solutions for complex projects and test scripts development, using Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, Angular, Node.JS, and Mocha.
- DE performing RESTful and SOAP Web API testing, using Rest Assured and wire mock (with Spring Boot); measuring performance and conducting load testing using Apache JMeter; and conducting back-end validations using MSSQL.
- Experience with Maven and Jenkins
- Experience with Selenium
- Experience with Agile environment
Responsibilities
- Participates in architecture design teams.
- Defines and implements application-level architecture.
- Develops applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
- Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and reviews and validates test plans.
- Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables.
- Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
- Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing test automation frameworks in a financial services environment.
- Alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing test automation frameworks in a financial services environment.
- Must work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office
- Must comply with various financial regulations, including the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and others
- Must pass background check due to restrictions on hiring individuals with certain Criminal Histories
