Fidelity is looking to solve the problem of testing and automating Angular/Vue based User Interfaces (UIs) and RESTful web services, and developing Application Programming Interface (API) testing using Java, to improve the quality and efficiency of their software applications.
Requirements
- Demonstrated Expertise designing and developing responsive and reliable applications with an emphasis on test automation and testing frameworks, using server-side technologies (Java, Python, and Node JS)
- Experience with Rest Assured (Java) and Cypress (JavaScript) in a healthcare or insurance services environment
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Experience with test automation frameworks using Java or RestAssured (for APIs), JavaScript, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver (for Web UI), and Appium (Mobile Web and Native App)
- Experience with SQL, MongoDB Compass, or MySQL Workbench
- Experience with Java, Python, and Node JS
- Experience with Cypress, Selenium, and Appium
Responsibilities
- Tests Angular/Vue based User Interfaces (UIs) and works with RESTful web services
- Develops Application Programming Interface (API) testing using Java
- Analyzes and implements Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline principles using Jenkins and Git
- Automates the testing of web applications across different browsers and platforms using JavaScript, Java, Cypress, Selenium, and other automation frameworks
- Participates in architecture design teams
- Defines and implements application-level architecture
- Develops applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division
Other
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field
- Five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation)
- Alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience
- Must work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office
- Must comply with Fidelity’s business governance and regulations, including the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and others
