M365 Copilot App (M3CA) is at the forefront of transforming productivity with AI, and this role is responsible for engineering this fast-growing, multi-platform product that enables users to experience Copilot's power.
Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 4+ years experience developing, deploying, and maintaining one or more large scale Windows, Mac, or Web applications.
- 4+ years experience designing, implementing, and debugging application and frontend code.

Responsibilities
- Designing, building and running the Copilot application across Windows, Mac, and Web platforms.
- Lead architectural decisions and contribute hands-on code to build applications, balancing innovation with platform stability.
- Write secure, reliable, scalable code as well as test automation and telemetry to measure its behavior in production.
- Design, prototype, implement, and ship features.
- Define reusable architectural patterns and techniques that enable consistent and intelligent user experiences at scale.
- Provide engineering leadership to the team taking on technical issues inherent in building and delivering a consumer-grade application that powers cross-platform AI experiences.
- Monitor the product for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.

- Partners with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements across different scenarios.
- Assists others to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products.
- Leverages subject-matter knowledge of cross-product features with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Guides and mentors engineers across the team, working on-call to monitor the product for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
