Leidos is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support the Access Discovery & Tradecraft mission, enhancing a critical and widely used tool for the customer's Operations organization. The goal is to provide the best possible solutions through rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research, pushing boundaries to find new data sources and tradecraft to answer intelligence questions.
Requirements
- Strong Java and/Kotlin development experience.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing full stack development.
- Experience with JavaScript or Typescript as well as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue, React or Ember
- API development experience.
- Familiarity with streaming/event-based architecture (Apache Spark, Apache Flink).
- Familiarity with NiFi
Responsibilities
- Work on a small team supporting a critical and widely used tool
- Interacting with analysts and making enhancements in nearly real time
- Will work full stack development, with the ability to focus on specific functions
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing full stack development

Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field plus a minimum of eleven (11) plus years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
