INTUITIVE is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support Project Offices in PEO Missiles and Space, ensuring product success through rigorous engineering methods and technical expertise.
Requirements
- Recognized expertise in at least one of the following software lifecycle phases: design/architecture/user interface, code/implementation, verification, and/or integration/interoperability
- 5 years of direct experience with software on Air and Missile Defense systems
Responsibilities
- Perform Software analysis, requirements, design, implementation, and test support for DoD systems
- Determine standards, methodology, and processes for software lifecycle tasks
- Lead, develop and implement software concepts for systems/subsystems based on provided requirements, guidelines, and process
- Develop program technical planning, and schedules and manage individual task orders against performance, schedule, and cost
- Conduct program and technical risk assessments/analyses
- Develop performance simulations and conduct system trade studies for software systems/subsystems
Other
- MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar software-related engineering degree
- 20 years of relevant experience
- Some Travel
- Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
