GE HealthCare's Advanced Visualization Solutions (AVS) segment needs to improve efficiency in radiology and beyond, increase user confidence, and provide better clinical outcomes through AI, digital solutions, and automation, connecting devices and software in one seamless ecosystem. The Principal Software Engineer will drive the design and development of scalable, cloud-native SaaS solutions for AI-powered ultrasound products, defining the architecture of an AWS-based platform for high performance, security, and seamless integration with clinical workflows.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in cloud architecture, particularly AWS services (e.g., EKS (Kubernetes), EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, Secrets Manager, API Gateway, and ELB).
- Deep proficiency in .NET and C-Sharp, with a solid grasp of scalable design patterns and performance optimization.
- Thorough understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.
- 8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a software architecture role.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable cloud-based software solutions on AWS in .NET/C-Sharp.
- Define and enforce best practices for software design, security, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, build, and evolve the cloud platform.
