The Trust and Security Services (TSS) team within Identity manages high-scale security services that serve as Microsoft's digital trust foundation across a vast array of products and hardware.
Requirements
- 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices
- 1+ years people management experience.
- 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 4+ years people management experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices
Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, coach, and grow a diverse team of talented Security and software engineers delivering world-class security solutions in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to start with the "Why", deeply understanding business strategy and needs, and translating them into technical & Security requirements and security controls for the DevSecOps team to deliver.
- Manage planning and execution—lead multi-quarter planning, resourcing, and cross-team dependencies to deliver on-time, high-quality deliverables.
- Reduce toil and overhead across teams by creating clarity around policy, best practices for managing infrastructure and data, and simplifying compliance.
- Drive automation and centralized capabilities to close security gaps, streamline incident response, and scale best practices across regional operations and facilities.

- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Industry certifications such as CISM / CISSP / ISC or equivalent hands-on experience (5+ years) with Security Design and Risk management.
