Microsoft is looking to solve the problem of building the next generation of AI-powered automation experiences, delivering AI-first Cloud Automation capabilities in Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform, and empowering both makers and enterprises with innovative automation services.
Requirements
- Coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, React or Python
- 6+ years of experience building scalable applications and services with Azure or other scalable cloud platforms with robust performance, resiliency, telemetry, and security.
- 3+ years of professional experience utilizing generative AI to accelerate software development, operations and assessing customer satisfaction.
- Experience with UX design and scalable service architecture
- Experience with cloud-scale engineering and applied AI
- Experience with Microsoft Cloud Background Check
- Experience with Azure or other scalable cloud platforms
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of high performing individuals to deliver product, features with agility and quality.
- Partners with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of scenarios.
- Drives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
- Directs efforts for creation and conducting of experimentation to determine the effectiveness of changes, monitors developments for prototyping and testing products, interprets results, and decides on next steps or ship decision from results.
- Leads by example and mentors others to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products.
- Leverages subject-matter expertise of cross-product features with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., program managers) to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Holds accountability as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), mentoring engineers across products/solutions, working on-call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 6+ years technical engineering experience
- 4+ years of people management experience, leading and developing high-performing engineering teams
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
