Microsoft 365 Copilot Growth is evolving the acquisition engine that powers how hundreds of millions of users discover and adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot. The role aims to improve monetization while investing in modern engineering fundamentals that enable rapid, safe iteration.

Requirements

  • 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • 2+ years of experience scaling developer productivity (AI‑agentic coding, CI/CD automation, test strategy, observability, reliability/SRE)
  • 3+ years of experience architecting distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, and telemetry
  • Fluency in our core stack: C-Sharp/.NET (services, APIs) and React + TypeScript (front‑end)
  • Demonstrated success running hypothesis‑driven experiments
  • Security, compliance, privacy‑by‑design mindset; experience with cost‑aware engineering and performance optimization

Responsibilities

  • Lead a full-stack team that rapidly ships experiments and features, learns from data, and scales successful patterns across the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Modernize fundamentals (tooling, pipelines, telemetry) to shorten the idea-to-data loop and safely scale experimentation
  • Lead the adoption of agentic workflows in engineering (from code to ops)
  • Own the engineering roadmap for our acquisition engine, balancing rapid hypothesis testing with durable platform investments
  • Drive developer productivity with AI‑assisted and agentic practices, while elevating engineering standards of accelerating velocity and ensuring reliability
  • Ship data-driven experiments that improve funnel metrics in close partnership with PM, Design, Data Science and Research
  • Make technical investments that support measurable business outcomes, balancing business priorities with engineering goals to maximize customer value and impact
