Thompson Software Solutions is seeking a Principal SW Integration Engineer Lead to provide innovative solutions for tomorrow’s problems, specifically in the development, integration, and testing of software products with a safety-critical pedigree.
Requirements
- Expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, C++, Java).
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, and operating systems.
- 5+ years of C/C++
- Experience with Digital Simulation Development and integration
- Experience with Embedded Software development
- Experience with I&T integration and test.
Responsibilities
- Lead (HW/SW) Hardware / Software Subsystem integration activities at the Holistic (MSV) Main Subsystem Vehicle or (KV) Key Vehicle level.
- Coordinate across various SW/HW teams to ensure vehicle functions are as intended.
- Ensure end-to-end interface compatibility throughout the system inclusive of external interfaces.
- Drive completion of any unresolved system level HW/SW interfaces and /or changes related to ERB.
- Drive completion of subsystem level interface documents/models.
- Support relevant interface documentation reviews which include internal, SDRL, and CDRL.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline or related experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on systems-level development testing and integration.
- Ability to professionally communicate project status and collaborate on technical solutions with clients and peers
- Clearance eligibility required
- Ability to work onsite 100%
- Travel 25%
